Meet urban farmer Leila Alexandra, proprietor of Barefoot Food Gardens and Sustain's farm activator.

  • Take a tour of our urban farm site and learn how disused land can be transformed for food production
  •  Hear about the work Sustain does to grows food for people in need
  • Learn how to start your own garden with hands on activities like sowing seeds, planting seedlings and composting
  • Get your hands dirty by helping us with farm jobs like weeding and mulching
  • Enjoy fresh tea pick from the garden

Oakhill Food Justice Farm - 233 Tyler Street, Preston, Vic

Cost: $1000 + GST for 4 hrs including light refeshments

Additional catering option: $25 per head for lunch made using locally grown vegetables
