Founder, Mongarlowe Gourmet

Mongarlowe Gourmet is a social enterprise, with its profits supporting organisations such as Koori radio, Indigenous Marathon, and mental health charity Wagging Tails Community.

We are a bush farm, which means we retain all our trees, and care for country. Our crops are grown under the trees, and in a glasshouse that is built on land that was cleared in the 1800's during the gold rush. The property is in the Mongarlowe Valley, Yuin Country, bordered by the Monga State Forest and the pristine Mongarlowe River.

We grow a variety of bush foods and gourmet foods, and have an early stage nursery which will provide seedlings to the community. We work in collaboration with Wagging Tails Community to support those at risk using clean food and accessible gardens as our tool.
