Sue Noy

Research fellow and academic, Deakin University

My work is in health promotion and sustainability education. I have a Masters Degree in Environment from the University of Melbourne. I am currently researching workplace mental health promotion for workers
in the environmental sector, and teaching sustainability subjects. I am a member of the Health Nature Sustainability Research Group at Deakin University. For over a decade I have taught conservation and environmental management subjects as well as an interdisciplinary subject Creating Sustainable Futures.

My research and teaching focuses on food systems, mental health in the environmental sector, and transformative learning strategies for teaching about sustainability in higher education.

My hobbies include being in nature, conservation activities, food production and cooking, rogaining/bushwalking and ecosystem creation/restoration.
