Izo Lourival
Director, Australia-Brazil Chamber of Commerce
Izo Lourival is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development, stakeholder and relationship management, industry and business engagement with the Victorian Government and large higher education institutions. In his most recent role as Investment Manager at the Victorian Government, Izo led business engagement activities and facilitated private sector investments in several of Victoria’s key sectors including food and fibre, renewable energy, international education and advanced manufacturing. He is a Director at the Australia-Brazil Chamber of Commerce.
With a passion for sustainability, Izo is a graduate of a Master of Sustainable Practice from RMIT University where he specialised in sustainable food systems and has published articles on food systems literacy and community food strategy. He has also completed Al Gore’s Climate Leadership Program and has further qualifications in Business and Project Management.
Izo identifies with and support the commitment to the human right to adequate food, and the principles of food sovereignty and has volunteered with Sustain over a number of years, participated in numerous events and activities, and has now deepened his commitment by becoming a member of Sustain’s Board of Directors.
