Daniel James Racovolis

I am passionate about creating opportunities for people from all backgrounds to participate in the democratic process through involvement in civil society. In particular, I am keen to encourage participation by the wider public in the governance of charities, and have even coined a term, ‘charitable democracy.’ I started Urabba Parks in 2012 to own user-managed parks and put charitable democracy into action. Urabba Parks has joined Sustain to develop connections with like-minded organisations who are interested in creating user-managed community gardens in urban areas.
