Since growing up in the 1950s in a very large family( 9 children), subsisting on 5 acres in Queensland, I have valued the knowledge gained through that very often, difficult, experience. I am passionate about passing that knowledge on through my own practices, to young children, and to anyone who seeks my advice. Through my involvement with my local Greens group, I can now proudly say that we have a Local Food Security policy.
