Bally's Patch

All are welcome to come along to the beautiful Balgownie Community Garden! The garden design is a combination of the communal food forest and communal vegetable beds, as well as six privately rented allotments. All ages and abilities are welcome.

You will discover a site for educational workshops and find a social hub for Balgownie village. If you would like to get involved become a Bally’s Patch member! There are regular working bees on-site, where you can meet like-minded people and help maintain this garden for our community. Meetups are on the 3rd Sunday of every month at 9 am. They involve light gardening, shared food and good chats. In summer, the garden hosts twilight meetups. An end-of-year party is hosted in December and involves a BBQ and drinks to thank all the dedicated members.
