Yajaswi Rai

Yajaswi Rai is a social entrepreneur from Nepal with keen interest in the political frontier. She is the Founder of Leklekk: The Green Wave, a social enterprise which works to produce and promote indigenous environment friendly products to financially empower women of marginalized communities of Nepal. Before arriving in Australia in 2022, to pursue her Masters in Sustainability from University of Sydney, Rai was an active Youth Gender Activists of UN Women, and a Central Committee Member at Youth Congress Nepal. Rai’s work has been featured in various national media. She was also one of the speakers for the Reykjavik Global Forum in 2021.
