Lil's Yolky Dokey Eggs

Free Range Pasture Eggs

Lil's Yolky Dokey Eggs is a vision born out of a mothers deep love for her daughter. After Lily Grace was tragically killed in a 4WD accident in 2018, her mother got to bringing Lily's bucket list dream of owning a bush block, having pasture raised chooks, and selling their free-range eggs to fruition.

Lil's Yolky Dokey eggs are laid by happy pasture-raised grain fed free-range hens. While most free-range chicken farms have anywhere between 1500-10000 hens per hectare, the number of chickens on Lil's Farm is kept to fewer than 60 hens per hectare. This low stocking density is something that Lil's Farm is proud of, as is the well-being of their chooks.

Lil's Gypsy chickens live in the best conditions out in open pastures and sleep in close protections of Maremma dogs. They roam free during the day and sleep in their caravans at night.

The chooks on Lil’s farm have the freedom to enjoy dust bathing, flying and scratching for bugs and grubs at their leisure. Lil's farm believe their way is the key to both sustainable farming, and ensuring that their girls live a happy and healthy life.
