Wyndham City

The City of Wyndham is located on the western edge of Melbourne and is one of the fastest growing municipalities within Victoria. It covers 542 square kilometres and has a coastline of 27.4km. The municipality is situated in one of Australia’s most productive regions, part of the largest area of rich basalt soils on the continent. Werribee South is home to one of the most significant market garden regions in the State.
Wyndham's population forecast for 2021 is 302,650 and is expected to grow to 512,591 by 2041. Almost half of all Wyndham residents were born overseas and the Wyndham Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population is the largest in all of Greater Melbourne.
